In the early 1900s, Julius Kelder, his brothers, and father operated a wholesale grocery business in Park Ridge, just north of Chicago. Their goal was to provide high quality, healthy products to their customers.

Park Ridge Trading Co. continues that family tradition by providing gourmet extra virgin olive oils and infused balsamics; flavorful pastas and sauces; locally produced raw honey; and a wide variety of tea blends. Our house brand includes fresh ground spices and herbs, fruit preserves and jams, and tasty pickles.

Park Ridge originally opened in May of 2016, just a few months before the historic and devastating Ellicott City flood. The proud owners lived up to the family legacy and rebuilt, with a temporary store on Main Street for the holiday season. Park Ridge Trading officially reopened for business in February 2017. Unfortunately, the store was once again destroyed as a result of the May 27, 2018 flash flood that decimated Old Ellicott City. They reopened once again at the end of September 2018.

Park Ridge Trading Company is lovingly owned and operated by Julius’ granddaughter Donna Sanger, and his great granddaughter, Julia Sanger.

 

Clipper’s Canine Cafe is a family owned and operated pet boutique and natural pet food store located in the Historic district of Ellicott City, Maryland. We carry a great selection of all natural pet foods including raw food diets, supplements and gourmet bakery treats. We feature unique toys, spa products and apparel for pets.

We take pride in our dedication to customer service and promoting good food for the good life of pets based on years of experience and knowledge in nutrition.

Clipper’s Canine Cafe offers a military/first responder discount, frequent buyer programs and curbside carry-out. We proudly serve our Nation’s Veterans with our VeRUS for Veterans Round-Up Program and Canine Care Packs.

 

Tersiguel’s French Country Restaurant is located in the heart of Historic Ellicott City. The Tersiguel family have been serving their unique version of French food for over 40 years.

The menu at Tersiguel’s is a combination of authentic French-style cooking and rustic country fare reminiscent of cuisine found in Tersiguel’s original home of Brittany, France. Tersiguel’s cuisine is reflective of the seasons, with a garden that produces lettuces, herbs, vegetables, fruits and edible flowers. When the garden is not producing, Chef Michel Tersiguel will personally go and hand pick all fruit and vegetables at the wholesale market in Jessup, Maryland.

Tersiguel’s is quintessential French Country “from the farm to your plate” cooking. Chef Tersiguel describes his food as “French soul food”. The Tersiguel family has operated one of the regions best restaurants for over 40 years and continues this tradition with annual ratings of “Best French Restaurant” from the Zagat and Baltimore Magazine.
